We’ve put together a few pointers to get smoothly in transition onto your mat and in studio. Check it out below… and we’ll see you on the mat soon!
Don’t have a Yoga mat?
We have plenty of Yoga mats here at the studio. If you don’t have a mat, we’ve got you covered. If you have your own mat, bring it with you! Nothing like getting some miles on your own personal mat
Bring a towel
This goes especially for our Hot Yoga classes. You will break a sweat and release toxins from the body.. wahoo! Bring a small to medium towel to connect and feel stable on your mat
Some of our classes can get pretty sweaty! Make sure you stay hydrated before, during and after your class. Drink plenty of water
Keep it light
Imagine a Downward Dog with a belly full of lunch! Keep your stomach light before class and work up an appetite during your practice! You want to feel nimble and free during your practice.
Who likes to feel rushed? Yoga is all about feeling grounded and centred. Please arrive 5-10min before the class begins to settle your energy. If you are bit late, enter quietly and find a space
Explore & Ask Questions
Yoga is all about exploring how you feel physically and mentally during your practice. See, feel and know yourself on your mat. If you have a Yoga topic or question you’d like to explore, our experienced teachers are here to guide you through
You can get as introspective or as light hearted as you like. Yoga is a super fun and will remove mental and physical barriers! Enjoy the process and if you don’t get it the first time, have fun exploring your practice
